Classification by Texture (The “Feel”)

  • Body Wash (Classic Gel):
    • Characteristics: Usually a clear or translucent gel. It produces a rich lather (bubbles).
    • Best For: Normal to oily skin. It provides a “squeaky clean” feeling.
  • Shower Cream / Body Cream:
    • Characteristics: An opaque, thick, and silky texture. It contains more emollients (moisturizers) than gels.
    • Best For: Dry or sensitive skin, especially during winter.
